Viktorija Trimbel, Managing Director at Coinvest Capital, spoke yesterday at WOMEN IN TECH GLOBAL CONFERENCE 2024 (April 23-25, virtual & in-person) on Tech Leadership, Innovation, Career Growth & Global Impact.
This global event unites 100 000 Women in Tech to Drive Change with Purpose and Impact. Women in Tech Global Conference 2024 is the 5th edition of the largest virtual-first tech conference for women, minorities, and their allies in tech.
Viktorija’s talk "Women With Wings" focused on challenges and opportunities for women to invest in startups and for female founders to raise funding. Women With Wings - an informal club of angel and early-stage women investors, that was started by a fellow VC investor Sandra Golbreicht, GP at Baltic Sandbox Ventures. This is a peer-to-peer network that meets online and hosts side events for women VCs during major startup conferences in Europe. Viktorija shared her story and insights, what makes a great startup founder and what makes a great angel investor, and what tips & tricks other fellow women can use to succeed in this challenging environment.
Back in 2020, Viktorija participated in the inaugural Women In Tech conference as one of the co-founders alongside Aurika Savickaitė and David Lukauskas of the Helmet-based Ventilation initiative, which became the finalist in the category "Women-led Startup in Tech of the Year 2020".
