About the event
Our Managing Director Viktorija Trimbel will be moderating panel discussion "Innovation Engines: Driving Defense Technology through Investment" during the premier defence industry event - bi-annual Baltic Miltech Summit. She will also join the jury of European Defence Tech Hakathon Winners and will be joining Lithuanian Defence Tech Exhibition organized by Lithuanian Venture Capital Funds, which will showcase top Lithuanian defence innovations, including a number of the Fund's portfolio companies. By now the Fund has already co-invested with partners EUR 9,8 million in aerospace & defense startups and is one of the few in the region, authorised to invest in single-use solutions.
The panel discussion will address the following key topics:
What mechanisms should be established for providing timely feedback from military and civil security institutions to startups during the testing phase of new technologies?
In what ways can government policies incentivize startups to engage with defense and civil security sectors…
